How to Use Artificial Intelligence to Land Your Dream Job (ChatGPT)

A robot landed a job interview and it made headline news!

This is either the end of humanity as we know it or it’s the greatest opportunity for job seekers that we’ve ever seen. If an artificial intelligence can land an interview on its own, imagine what it can do for you in your job search.

When many people think about artificial intelligence, they feel scared about the future.

Instead of being fearful of our robot friends, you can choose to harness the power of AI to land your dream job in record time. ChatGPT is the ultimate tool for job seekers, and if you don’t take advantage of using it now, you’ll be missing out on a power that will put you in the top percentage of applicants.

1. What is ChatGPT?

What is this AI that landed a job interview?

It’s called ChatGPT and it’s a computer program that can understand and generate human language. It can answer questions, write text, and even have a full conversation with you through text.

It’s taken the world by storm, hitting 1M users in less than a week. For context, it took both Facebook and Instagram months to reach this milestone. It is a revolutionary technology that not only changes how people will search for jobs, but will change the way our everyone lives in our society forever.

2. How Can ChatGPT Help You Find Your Dream Job?

Imagine you had a career coach like me handcuffed to your desk by your side and forced to answer your every question. Then, imagine you didn’t have to feed me or let me go the bathroom… because I was a robot.

You could force me to help you:

  • Conduct all your company research for applications and job interviews.

  • Rewrite resume bullet points and match them with a job description.

  • Generate entirely different cover letters customized to the company you’re apply.

  • Write personalized networking messages and emails.

  • Optimize your entire LinkedIn using the proper keywords for the jobs your’e targeting.

  • Find relevant ways to answer questions for an upcoming interview.

And, you could do all of this within a few seconds and a couple clicks.

That’s the point...

Job seekers who’ve traditionally worked for hours and hours tweaking their resume or changing their LinkedIn or applying to jobs can now use this AI to do these things in a fraction of the time.

It’s like magic.

The use cases and output of this technology are only limited by your creativity to ask the right questions.

Check out the entire series of tutorials at the end of this article to help you know exactly what to ask to get the answers you’re looking for.

3. Conclusion

Denying ChatGPT for your job search would be like denying the internet to continue to use encyclopedias, it would be like staying on a horse when you had an option to take a car.

This is a massive turning point in our society as humans and the people who learn how to leverage it first will be the ones who have the most to gain.

But one thing to note is that at the time of me making this video, there are constraints…

There are certain answers ChatGPT can’t give or tasks that it can’t do, but this technology will get better with time. At the end of the day it’s not a substitute for you as a human, but it’s a supplement, at least until it turns fully sentient and kills us all.
